DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN

The City of Los Angeles Deferred Compensation Plan is a voluntary tax-advantaged governmental 457(b) plan that allows you to save a portion of your salary now so you can enjoy it later in retirement. SAVINGS PLANS

The LA City Employees’ Retirement System (LACERS) provides an excellent independent retirement plan. The plan provides term life insurance in addition to retirement benefits and management of the pension fund portfolio to offset payment of these obligations (lacers.org). The City of Los Angeles Pension Savings Plan is an alternative for those who are not eligible to participate in one of the City's three defined benefit retirement plans.

VACATION AND OTHER BENEFITS
